So, I continued with the jumpsuit and finished hemming all the parts of all the leg pieces. Hemming continues to be the absolute worst, like… literally!
Also, it turns out I was hemming the wrong way; you are supposed to hem the ends to make sure they don’t come undone.. Well, the more you know haha

Not only have I finished hemming the pieces, but I also began sewing them together!

I sewed the inner part of the right leg together, and my lines are much less crooked than they were on the blouse. Apparently, I do need a lot of practice, but I am not a lost cause, so happy days!

I couldn’t put too many hours into sewing this week, because I left my lovely sewing machine and materials at home, and I spontaneously came to see my sweet little sister. I’m staying here until mid-next week, so no sewing for me this time round. I can process all the videos and photos I’ve taken, and edit them. Honestly, social media is not really my strong suit. I don’t mean to sound old, but I absolutely don’t follow the trends, and I am not finding that much happiness in video making… for now at least, but it might be that I have to get used to it, feel the rhythm of it, and just get the hang of it.
Also, a quick recap: the intensive West-Coast Swing weekend was lovely, I made acquaintances with some lovely people. I still do not hear the rhythm they dance to, but as long as I can follow the leader’s lead, I should be fine. I’m not doing West-Coast Swing because I fell in love with the dance, but because people there are my age, more or less, and it is a perfect scene to make acquaintances, and potentially new friends. And I love dancing, so it is perffffect!
Step by step, and the thing is done by Charles Atlas.
